We've all done it.... thrown out a little cough in order to get someone's attention. Well, my 'lil man has learned the finer art of coughing. Yes, at 6 months old, he coughs (rather snottily, I might add) to get our attention.
A few weeks ago, he had a small headcold... and when he coughed -- the Big Dubya and I would look over.... smile at him, assure him that he was okay and then he'd smile back. Well, now he "coughs" anytime he wants our attention. If his swing music stops "ah-hem, ah-hem" -- if his vibrating chair stops vibrating "ah-hem, ah-hem" -- if we are having a conversation that doesn't include him -- "ah-hem, ah-hem". Our beautiful baby boy has turned into a rude house guest -- and we fall for it every single time.
